Batman is a comic book super hero who dresses like a bat to fight crime. He protects Gotham City from dangerous super villains such as The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman, among others. His alter ego is a rich billionaire named Bruce Wayne. In Lego Batman: The Video Game, he is the main character. His parents Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne were killed by Joe Chill which is the reason for Batman fighting crime. Batman has his own toy set made by LEGO®. When he was young he fell into a pit with Bats and that's how he got his fasination with bats. He has many different suits and can switch between them using the Suit Swapper. His gear includes Batarangs and a Grapple gun. He is very skilled at several martial arts and can dive roll.

Batman is a major crime fighter who protects Gotham from everything and thwarts the plots of: The Riddler, The Penguin and The Joker. He and his partner Robin are there to stop the villains, with help from: Batgirl, Alfred and Nightwing. Being a crime fighter is hard work so he has lots of transportation to get him around the city e.g.The Batmobile, the Batboat, the Batwing and the Bat Tank, using those he travels on land,sea and air to defeat all the villains.
